Objective: To enhance the knowledge of automation in micro Irrigation, How MIS Industries works, Constraints and solutions for the startup of Micro Irrigation Systems industry for undergraduate students

Pre Event Description :

Agricultural irrigation is highly important in crop production everywhere in the world. The demand for new water saving techniques in irrigation is increasing rapidly globally. In order to produce “more crop per drop”, growers in (semi) arid regions currently explore irrigation techniques in the range from using less fresh water. This vocational training will cover the wide spectrum of topics pertaining to automation in micro irrigation system like Automation In Micro Irrigation System, Importance of MIS in Project Mode, Scope and issues of MIS Industries in India, Automated survey through mobile GPS and CAD, Google Earth Technology, Application of PINS project in SSNNL, Components of automatic drip irrigation system, Advanced irrigation scheduling techniques for different crops under micro irrigation system, Automatic drip fertigation controllers, Sensors based irrigation scheduling for increasing water productivity, Potential of Drip Irrigation in Gujarat, Soil & Water Quality Parameters for Micro Irrigation and Success story of automatic drip irrigation system, Design of automatic micro irrigation system and selection of components, Irrigation & Fertigation Programme on Netbeat System, Scope of IOT and AI in Drip Irrigation to enhance the communication skills among the students

Target Group: Students
